Depending on how well a transmission has been looked after (cleaned and oiled or waxed), and it's esposure to dirt will determine the life of the components. We recomend keeping an eye on chain wear and replacing it when worn. If you wait too long, a worn chain can wear out the casette and chain rings, resulting in additional costs. Always dry your chain after washing and cleaning and ensure don't let it build up dirt and rust.
